WHAT IS THIS FORM FOR?
Each child who comes to CORE receives a budget that they can spend on fun electives and a budget that can be spent on academic purposes only. Every time you would like to use your child's EUs, you will submit a Community Partner Request Google Form. You will submit an individual response for each Community Partner you want to utilize. You will use this form to request EUs for elective AND academic purposes. Click HERE to view the list of CORE-approved community partners on the CORE website.

ELECTIVE EUs VS. ACADEMIC EUs
Examples of elective EU opportunities include horseback riding lessons, karate class, piano lessons, swimming lessons, etc. A great way to spend your child's academic EUs would be tutoring services or a taking a CORE center enrichment classes (50 EUs per year). You may utilize your child's elective EUs for academic services but you may not utilize your child's academic EUs for electives. Click HERE if you would like more information on what EUs can be used for. (read pages 6 and 7)

WHEN CAN I MAKE COMMUNITY PARTNER REQUESTS?
There are only TWO  times a year that you can submit a Community Partner Request Form for your child's elective EUs. The first window will around September and will close sometime in October. (I will communicate more specific dates as the PLTs are told what they are.)  If you are a family who is new to CORE Butte Charter School, you have a period of approximately three weeks after you enroll to submit a Community Partner Request Google Form(s) on behalf of your student. Please know that CORE will only pay for tutoring or elective activities through the month of May.

HOW DO I WITHDRAW FROM A SERVICE BEING PROVIDED?

WITHDRAWL FROM COMMUNITY PARTNER COURSE INSTRUCTION GUIDELINES

A student may choose to withdraw from or Vendor Course Instruction class. The parent or student must contact the personalized learning teacher  AND the community partner to notify him/her that he/she will no longer be attending. It is the parent’s/student’s responsibility to contact his/her teacher about dropping a class prior to the next class meeting. The EUs that have been allocated for classes enrolled in but not attended will NOT be returned. A student who does not follow this procedure jeopardizes her/his right to attend VCI classes. The teacher must Cancel the purchase order for each class, so notification from the parent is vital.
EUs allocated for enrichment classes at the centers enrolled in but not attended will also not be returned.
